ASM is about creating, being your own person and choosing your circle. "Anti-social" means picky about where your time goes, not hostile to people. These guidelines keep the ASM community a good place to show off what you've made. They are part of the Terms of Use. Words such as "the Services", "ASM item" and "holder" mean what the "Words we use" table on the About ASM page says.
1. Where these guidelines apply
- your Community profile: display name, profile web address, bio, X and Instagram handles, banner, profile photo, character look, pose, showcase and rough location
- your share card ("Share my look") and its share page
- quests: posts you submit and the X account you link
- the Offline District game
- the ASM Discord server and anything you post to or about ASM on X, where it involves ASM
The game is single-player and has no chat. The Services have no private messaging.
2. Be yourself, not someone else
- Don't pretend to be ASM, the ASM founder (TheOak), an ASM team member, a partner project or anyone else.
- Don't use a display name, profile photo or banner that suggests you're official ASM or a staff member.
- Don't use a display name, profile address or handle that belongs to someone else's brand to confuse people.
3. Keep it clean
Don't post or upload anything that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity
- is sexually explicit, or sexualises anyone who is, or looks like, a child
- is hateful, or attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar
- threatens, harasses, bullies or encourages harm, including self-harm
- is graphically violent or gory
- infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights, for example artwork you don't have permission to use
- is spam, a scam, a phishing link or malware
- advertises other projects, tokens or "giveaways" through ASM profiles
4. Protect people's privacy, including your own
- Don't post anyone else's personal information: names, addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers, photos of them without permission or private messages.
- Don't put a street address, coordinates or anything else that pinpoints where you are in your profile. The Community Map is built for a rough area only.
- Never share your wallet's secret key, seed or recovery phrase. ASM will never ask for it. Report anyone who does.
5. Play fair
- Don't use scripts, bots, cheats, modified game files or several wallets to farm rewards, quest points, claims or limited spots.
- Don't exploit bugs. If you find one, tell us (see section 8) and don't use it.
- Don't try to get around the closed beta, supply limits, odds, rate limits or one-per-wallet rules.
- Don't buy, sell or fake quest entries, followers or engagement.
6. Quests on X
- Your posts must follow X's rules as well as these guidelines.
- Only submit your own posts, from the X account you linked.
- ASM never posts for you, never asks for your X password and never reads your messages.
- The Quests and Promotions Rules explain eligibility and prizes.
7. What we do if the guidelines are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- ask you to change something
- remove or hide content, such as a bio, banner, display name or share card
- make your profile private
- remove a quest entry, quest points or an unclaimed prize
- block your wallet or X account from quests, claims, purchases or the Services
- report illegal content to the authorities
We can't take back ASM items that are already in your wallet, because the XRP Ledger doesn't allow it. We can stop showing them in the Services.
We'll usually explain what we did and why. If you think we got it wrong, DM the_oak_ on Discord and we'll look at it again.
8. How to report something
- DM the_oak_ on Discord, or message @0xASMedia on X.
- Tell us the profile name or page address and what's wrong.
- For copyright or trademark problems, see section 8 of the IP and Holder Licence.
- For security problems, send the details privately and don't post them publicly.
