ASM runs Holder Rewards: a promotional thank-you to the people who hold ASM collectibles. From a budget that ASM sets aside, a small amount of XRP is shared every week between members, according to the eligible NFTs they hold. These rules apply to Holder Rewards. They're part of the Terms of Use, alongside the Project Disclaimer and Risks. Words such as "ASM", "wallet" and "the Services" mean what the "Words we use" table on the About ASM page says.
1. Who runs Holder Rewards
Holder Rewards is run by ASM (Anti Social Media), an independent creative project from South Africa (see About ASM). It isn't run, sponsored or endorsed by the XRP Ledger, Ripple, XRPL Labs (Xaman), any marketplace or any other platform.
2. What Holder Rewards is, and what it isn't
- It's a promotion. ASM decides how much to set aside and for how long, and pays rewards out of that budget only. The budget is ASM's own money. Members never pay anything in.
- It isn't an investment, interest or a return. ASM collectibles are collectibles, not investments (see the Project Disclaimer and Risks). Holder Rewards doesn't change that. Don't buy an ASM item because of Holder Rewards: no reward of any size is promised, and a week's reward can be small or nothing.
- It isn't XRP Ledger staking. Nothing is locked, staked, deposited or held by ASM. Your NFTs and your XRP stay in your own wallet the whole time.
- It isn't financial advice. Nothing ASM says about Holder Rewards is advice about XRP, NFTs or any other asset.
3. Joining is free
You don't pay ASM anything to join, take part or receive a reward. You need a free XRP Ledger wallet (Xaman or Joey) to sign in. Signing in is a signature request only: it creates no payment and moves nothing. Joining, adding NFTs and leaving don't ask your wallet for anything else.
4. Who can join
You can join if:
- you're 18 or older
- you sign in to the Services with your own wallet
- that wallet holds at least one eligible NFT (section 5) when you join
- you're allowed to take part where you live. Some countries restrict crypto assets or promotions like this one. You're responsible for checking that.
Apart from the one test entry below, ASM team wallets can't take part: the ASM founder's wallets, the wallets that issue ASM collections, the Shop and crate payment wallets, the Holder Rewards wallet itself and the wallets of ASM admins. ASM may also exclude other wallets that help run ASM.
One test entry. So the team can check Holder Rewards works end to end, one wallet of the ASM founder takes part as a disclosed test entry: rMsWH5kMbiGHtx5C9qmNkEtYckFm7L4nYh. It can add one NFT, follows these rules like every member, and its share is part of the same pot.
5. Which NFTs count, and how much
Only the NFTs you add count. After you join, add each NFT on the Holder Rewards page, or add all of them at once. You can take an NFT out at any time. An NFT that is listed for sale can't be added, and listing an NFT you added takes it out of Holder Rewards: to count again, take it off sale and add it again. An NFT that leaves your wallet is taken out too.
Three collections count. Each eligible NFT you add gives you points:
| Collection | Points per NFT |
|---|---|
| The Social Circle | 5 |
| 1/1 by Oak | 3 |
| Anti-Social (the original Anti Social Media collection) | 1 |
Points are per NFT and add up. For example, two Anti-Socials and one Social Circle give 2 + 5 = 7 points.
Only genuine pieces count. ASM checks every NFT's identity on the XRP Ledger: for the Anti-Social collection, its issuer, taxon and place in the original minting run; for the Social Circle and 1/1 by Oak, the list of their NFTs that ASM keeps. Other tokens, including look-alikes, don't count.
6. Held all week, never listed
An NFT you added counts towards a reward only if, for the whole week before that reward:
- it was in your wallet (a piece you receive during the week counts from the next reward)
- it wasn't listed for sale at any moment, anywhere, at any price. A sell offer that you cancel before the reward still counts as a listing that week. An offer that had already expired before the week began doesn't.
When you added it doesn't matter: an NFT added on any day counts at the next reward if it meets both conditions. "The week" runs from the previous reward time to this one. ASM checks this in your wallet's own history on the XRP Ledger. You can always list, sell or move your NFTs: nothing is locked. A piece that was listed, sold or received during the week simply sits out that week. Each NFT counts once per reward, even if it moved between members' wallets.
7. How each reward works
- When: every Sunday at 20:00 SAST (18:00 UTC).
- The pot: a fixed amount set by ASM, shown on the Holder Rewards page before each reward. It's 10 XRP a week for the first run. The pot doesn't grow with the number of members.
- Your share: your points ÷ all members' points × the pot. For example, with 500 points in total and 7 of them yours, you'd receive 7 ÷ 500 × 10 = 0.14 XRP. That's an example of the sum, not a forecast. Signed in, the Holder Rewards page also shows a rough share for the coming reward, worked out from the points members have added so far. It's an estimate, not a promise: it changes as members join, add, list or sell NFTs, and only NFTs held all week and never listed count.
- Payment: your share is sent automatically to your wallet as an ordinary XRP Ledger payment from the Holder Rewards wallet shown on the page. There's nothing to claim.
- Small amounts: a share under 0.1 XRP isn't sent straight away. It's kept for you and added to later rewards until it reaches 0.1 XRP.
- If your wallet can't be read: if ASM can't read your wallet on the XRP Ledger at reward time (it keeps trying for six hours), it counts 0 that week, and its part of the pot stays in the budget.
- If a payment is refused: if the XRP Ledger refuses a payment to your wallet (for example because the wallet needs a destination tag), the amount stays owed to you. After three refusals in a row, ASM tries again every four weeks.
8. The budget
- The first run has a budget of 100 XRP. At 10 XRP a week that's about 10 weekly rewards.
- ASM never pays out more than the Holder Rewards wallet holds. A small part of it always stays in the wallet for the XRP Ledger's reserve and network fees.
- When the budget can't fill a full weekly pot, the last reward shares what's left and sends members what they're owed (down to 0.01 XRP). Holder Rewards then pauses.
- ASM may add to the budget, but doesn't have to.
9. Joining, leaving and membership
- You join once on the Holder Rewards page, with three separate confirmations (18 or older and allowed where you live; a promotion, not an investment; these rules), and stay a member until you leave. Then you add the NFTs you want to count. Leaving takes all your added NFTs out; if you join again, add them again.
- You can leave at any time. Anything you're owed (from 0.01 XRP) is sent at the next reward.
- A membership ends by itself if nothing in the wallet counts for four rewards in a row, or the wallet can't be read four times in a row. You can join again.
10. Changes, pauses and the end
- ASM may change these rules, pause Holder Rewards or end it. We'll publish a change on this page, with a new date, before it takes effect. A change only applies to rewards after it's published. If the rules change, you'll be asked to accept the new version on the Holder Rewards page. Until you do, your NFTs don't count, and anything you're owed stays owed.
- ASM may pause rewards at any time if something looks wrong (for example a technical fault or abuse) while we check it.
- If Holder Rewards ends, amounts already owed to members under these rules are sent from what the Holder Rewards wallet holds.
11. Fair play
Holder Rewards is for real holders. ASM may exclude a wallet, or withhold a reward, if we reasonably believe someone is abusing it: for example by passing the same NFTs around wallets to get around section 6, or by exploiting a fault. We'll tell the wallet owner if they contact us.
12. Tax
A reward may count as income where you live. You're responsible for any tax on what you receive. ASM can't give tax advice.
13. Your information
To run Holder Rewards, ASM keeps your wallet address, when you joined or left, which of your NFTs counted each week, and the rewards sent to you. Every reward is also a public payment on the XRP Ledger. We handle this information as the Privacy Policy explains. Your membership is part of your personal data there: you can ask for a copy, or ask us to erase it (which also ends your membership). Payment records are kept, as for purchases.
14. Value and risk
XRP can go up or down in value. A reward is worth whatever XRP is worth when you receive it. The risks of using a blockchain and a self-custody wallet are explained in the Project Disclaimer and Risks.
15. Questions and complaints
See "How to contact us" on the About ASM page. Quote "Holder Rewards" and your wallet address. We never ask for your wallet's secret key, seed or recovery phrase.
Changes in this version
5 November 2026: one disclosed test entry (section 4); the rough share shown on the Holder Rewards page (section 7); section 4 says team wallets are excluded apart from that test entry.
4 November 2026: only the NFTs a member adds count; an NFT that is listed for sale can't be added, and listing an added NFT, or it leaving the wallet, takes it out (sections 5, 6 and 9). Members accept these rules again before their NFTs count.
3 November 2026: the first version, published before Holder Rewards starts.
